Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions
The Client: The recipient of the service and name listed on the booking form
Makeup Artist: Samira Jane
The Agreement: The contract that exists between the client and the makeup artist for the agreed fee
The fee: The amount payable by the client to the makeup artist for the services
The event: Relates in principle to the date whereby the event (i.e. the wedding) takes place
2. Securing the booking of the event
Wedding and other bookings.
The booking of the event is only reserved once the client has paid a non-refundable booking fee of €100 for wedding bookings and €10 for other makeup services to the makeup artist Samira Jane.
This booking fee covers the cost of the client’s trial and provisionally holds the event date.
The event date will be held for up to 72 hours following completion of the trial at which stage a 50% deposit of the remaining Wedding Day cost is required to secure the event.
1. Payment
Payments can be made in cash or via bank transfer, cheques will not be accepted.
The non-refundable booking fee of €100 or €10 paid by the client is taken off the fee.
Agreed fees in relation to additional party members trials must be paid on the day of trial in Cash or via Bank Transfer no less than 24 hours before.
The full package fee has to be paid for in full two weeks (14 days) before the event.
Failure to pay the fee within the stated time can result in the event being cancelled by the Makeup Artist.
1. Responsibility of the client
The client shall inform the makeup artist of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. The makeup artist cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that is incurred due to the client’s failure to inform the artist of any known condition.
The makeup artist reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members of the party for, but not limited to, abusive and threatening behavior.
1. Cancellations / Amendments
The client can cancel the event any time up to 14 days before the event by informing the makeup artist in writing.
Any cancellations made after this time will be subject to a 50% charge.
The makeup artist will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until point of cancellation as the booking fee and all deposits are non refundable.
The client can cancel a trial at any point, however a trial cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged for at the agreed rate.
Cancellations by the makeup artist due to circumstances including, but not limited to, problems rendering the performance of their obligations and where no other suitable alternative can be given -will result in a refund to the client. No further compensation will be offered.
6.Photography
The client agrees that the makeup artist may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to the makeup artist’s website and social media pages. Any objections should be made in writing to samiraperret@hotmail.com
1. Travel Expenses
The client will cover any necessary travel expenses of the makeup artist as agreed at time of booking.
This is to include, should it be required, congestion charging and parking charges.
Travel within a 10 km starting from my location Brielle will not be subject to any charges. outside of this radius is charged at a rate of €0.30 per km.

Samira Jane is very professional, talented, kind and reliable!
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY HAIR AND MAKEUP TRIAL?
Please always make sure you come with a clean face and no makeup stains from the day before.
Can I bring someone along to my trial?
When coming to location of Samira Jane, come alone to your appointment and no children are aloud.
HOW LONG WILL THE TRIAL LAST?
The trial is approximately 1.5-2 hours for hair or makeup and 3-4 hours for both.
DO I PAY FOR THE ARTIST’S TRAVEL?
Yes, and all the details are in the terms and conditions.
IF I’M NOT HAPPY AT THE TRIAL AM I COMMITTED TO BOOK?
No, and you are just liable to pay for the trial and any travel charges incurred.
CAN I BOOK IN A TRIAL WITHOUT PAYING THE DEPOSIT FIRST?
Samira Jane will always ask for a deposit first to hold your wedding or other makeup services a date in her diaries before booking in your trial.
CAN I REDUCE THE PRICE OF THE PACKAGE IF I DON’T INCLUDE LASHES?
The lashes are a complimentary extra offered by Samira Jane so she would not be able to discount if you prefer not to have them.
Late Fees
There will be a fee of €35 for 30 minutes waiting or a no show.
This is put in place because multiple clients may be booked in one day and unfortunately Samira Jane do not have time to wait for clients to arrive after the previously agreed upon time.
